Andrew Hatherley is the founder of Transcend Retirement, LLC and Wiser Divorce Solutions, LLC and the host of The Gray Divorce Podcast. He is also the Financial Chair for the ADN and the co-author of the upcoming book Gray Divorce: Your Roadmap to Resolution.
After going through his own mid-life divorce, Andrew decided to help other people avoid the financial and emotional stress so common to the process. He earned the designation Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® and, in 2022 started The Gray Divorce Podcast, focused on the issues affecting mid-to-late-life divorcees.
Andrew has over 20 years’ experience in investment management and financial planning. He has also studied with leaders in the field of humanistic and positive psychology and is a strong advocate for the role creativity can play in personal growth after trauma.
He has written numerous articles for industry publications and speaks regularly to professional groups and the public on the financial issues of gray divorce.
He recently contributed three chapters to the book Divorce Amicably: Your Roadmap to Resolution and has written a guide: The Gray Divorce Phenomenon: How to Create Financial Independence after Mid-Late-Life Divorce.
